Our little gymnast

E. started gymnastics tonight and she absolutely loved it. She also had preschool earlier today and when I picked her up, her teacher said E. had been talking about going to gymnastics ALL day. Her class today had 7 kids and they were so busy for the whole hour. They did front rolls, back rolls, jumped on the trampoline, walked the balance beams, swung on a rope into the foam pit, and even did some jumps from the uneven bars into the foam pit. It made me a little (okay, a lot) nervous, but the teacher has several years experience working with kids. She seems to keep a sharp eye on them and keeps a good hold on them when they're airborne. When it was time to go home, she got upset because she wanted to stay longer, so I'd say the first day at gymnastics was a success!
