One down, one more to go

We made it through the summer and TODAY was the first day back to school for F. He felt like such a big kid getting to go to the pre-k class this morning. His new class is the oldest bunch in the school. His backpack was so big and heavy it knocked him over on the way out the door!




E's big kindergarten debut is still a few weeks away. She's so excited that she's already packed her backpack full of all the supplies on the list!


It was a pretty specific list, right down to the required brand names and huge glue bottles. I think it's insane to think they'll use this much glue in a single class in a single year. 4 bottles for each of the 25 kids. Is it even possible to use 100 jumbo bottles of glue in 9 months? That's a lot of stickiness. I also hope the teacher asked for the Sharpies and Dry Erase markers to boost her own stash of supplies and not to give them to the kids!
