Goodbye baby teeth

E lost her first tooth last Friday on the way to Oklahoma City. That Chik Fil A nugget proved to be too much for that last tiny bit of root that had been hanging on for weeks and her tooth just popped out. We had been toting around her tooth pillow all summer to various destinations just in case her tooth fell out, but for this quick weekend trip, we had left it at home. Figures. So we explained that the tooth fairy only visited your own house and that she'd have to wait until we got back home again to use her tooth pillow. So, tonight's the big night for the tooth fairy's debut. She even wrote her a letter so the magical fairy wouldn't haul off with her tooth.
