Blast from the past

My friend Kathy from high school had this link posted to her blog earlier this week and had some hilarious pictures up of herself. Since I've had my fair history of crazy 'dos, I wanted to try it for myself. Oh my. So entertaining.

If I had been alive in 1950, I might have looked like this.

Take away the high lace collar, add a strand of pearls and a few years later I would have looked like this. Not surprisingly, I think I look like my grandma here in 1952.

1962. Cinnamon rolls on top, Polly Pocket flip on the bottom.

I'm fairly sure that these glasses can lend a little glitz to anyone's look. I would have looked so smart in 1964 if I had been alive.

Football head, anyone? My mom and aunts had almost this exact same hairstyle in 1966.

I have never managed to have long hair in my entire life, so this one is fun for me to see. I was 2 years old when this style was tops in 1974.

I'm not even sure how this style even works. Is it a bowl cut with a perm? Yikes and very unfortunate for 1980.

And this one....how much Aqua Net do you think it took in 1982 to make this style stay put? It kind of reminds me of those plastic juicers you squeeze oranges into.

These pictures are funny except they come painfully close to what I DID look like in these years. Except in 1984 I was only 11.

My sister would title this look "the lion" haircut. My senior picture almost looks just like this one.

This is the 'do from 1992, the year I actually graduated from high school. Feathered hair. Fuzzy sweater. All I'm missing is my add-a-bead necklace.
