Easter chicks and the cockfight
Amid a recent string of frigid wintry days, we were lucky enough to get a beautiful sunny day for early Easter pictures with baby chicks at the local park a few weeks ago.
The kids loved the baby chicks, but F was hesitant to hold them. Guess he takes after his mom and his great Aunt Joy in that department. Birds never have been either one of our favorites.
He got over that squeamishness quick though, as you can see, when he put them beak-to-beak and let them peck at each other. (not for very long though after I saw what he was doing!)
