Labor Day 2007

We decided to take a family vacation to Branson and Table Rock Lake with some friends and their kids this weekend. We rented a condo to hold all 6 adults, 4 kids under 5, plus a 6 month old baby and headed up on Friday after all the vehicles were packed to the roofs and the sea doos were loaded. We looked like a combination of the Beverly Hillbillies and the Griswold's Great Ozark Adventure.

After we arrived, we checked out the lake and geared up for a day on the water the next morning. The kids were excited about everything from the pool, to the playground to the huge pile of snacks that we stockpiled in the kitchen. They couldn't wait to dig in and start with the festivities.

The kids LOVED the water and E couldn't get enough of the Sea Doo. She was adamant she was going to try water skiing and she did pretty well for a first attempt.

Get ready.....
And, she's up....for about 2 seconds!

Too much excitement for F. He fell alseep before he could ski.
E and our friend giving her a lesson on the 'Doo.

Marinating in the lake....

And then, finally, they were all tired! Resting up for yet another day.

Silver Dollar City was next on the list for the weekend. Since it was Labor Day weekend, it was completely packed with people, but after we found the petting zoo and rides for the kids, they were content to stay in one area for most of the day. Since it was only a few dollars more for the season pass, it looks like we'll be making at least one more trip that direction before the end of the year.
