Round two of winter storms

Even though I grew up in those COLD winters of the north, I'm definitely not used to those bitter temperatures anymore. For the second time in 3 weeks, we're in the middle of another winter storm. It took me almost an hour to drive 6 miles to pick up the kids at school yesterday because the roads were so icy. Of course, Eli's out of town until tomorrow so we're stuck at home until then because my van doesn't have 4 wheel drive. We're all going a little crazy - but we've eaten enough mac and cheese, hot dogs and popcorn to tide us over until the weekend. I wish the kids had snow boots and could get out to play in the snow today, but I don't even have bread bags to improvise! Remember those days?
